The CDS9 was an immediate success for Kimber following its debut in fall of 2024. The handgun combines all desirable features from consumers into a micro-sized package. The remarkable ways in which the 3-inch barreled CDS9 handles like a full-sized gun quickly grabbed the attention of enthusiasts around the nation. Featuring optics cuts, accessory rail, and shipping with 13 and 15 round magazines, the CDS9 created the perfect storm for a concealed carry platform. Now, in the summer of 2025, Kimber is proud to announce the all-new CDS9 Classic. The Classic comes in two models: the CDS9 Classic and the CDS9 Classic OR. The purpose behind these models is to provide consumers with the same great shoot ability in a refined profile with no optics rail that provides cost savings in a challenging economy. The New CDS9 Classic will be available in two finish options, Black/Brushed and solid Gray both featuring black injection molded grips and chambered in 9mm.
