Team Mathews Archers Win Men and Women’s Pro Divisions in Paris, Texas

Sparta, Wisconsin – Team Mathews claimed 6 podium spots across three pro divisions at the ASA Pro/Am in Paris, TX this past weekend, including first and second place finishes in Men's Open Pro and a sweep of the Women's Open Pro Division.

Dan McCarthy took top honors in the Men's Open Pro Division scoring 510 with a total of 16 twelve rings for the weekend. “The TRX38 felt awesome and performed flawlessly,” stated McCarthy. Teammate Levi Morgan came in second scoring 503 with 17 twelve rings with his TRX38.

“What an amazing weekend for our team. McCarthy shot great for his 2nd win in a row and our ladies continued their hot streak with their 3rd straight sweep,” stated Mathews Pro Staff Manager Derek Phillips.

In addition to taking the top two spots in the Men's Open Pro Division, Team Mathews also swept the Women’s Pro Division taking all three podium spots. Sharon Wallace captured first while Emily McCarthy and Erin McGladrey finished second and third.

The final podium spot for Team Mathews went to Dominic Demichele, who claimed third in Men’s Senior Pro Division.

ASA Pro Division competitors shoot two rounds of twenty targets from unmarked distances. These targets vary in distance up to 50 yards and the five highest scores from the first two rounds qualify for the shoot down to decide the winner.
