Team Beretta Shooters Excel at Texas State Championship

(Accokeek, MD) Team Beretta shooters recently achieved 8 podium honors in 5 different events at last week’s 2019 Texas State Championship at the NSCA Headquarters in San Antonio, TX.

Team Beretta members in attendance at this competition included Desirae Edmunds, Dominic Gross, and Zachary Kienbaum.

Edmunds, who shoots with a Beretta DT11 L, secured a ladies champion podium honor in the main event with a score of 175 out of 200 targets, besting her nearest competitor by 3 targets. She also topped the podium in the ladies Super Sporting event with a score of 92 targets out of 100.

Additionally, Edmunds also brought home a ladies runner-up and third-place finish in the preliminary and 5-Stand events with scores of 89/100 and 90/100, respectively.

Gross, a junior Team Beretta shooter, won a runner-up junior podium finish in the main event with a score of 187 out of 200 targets, after a close shoot-off with the first-place finisher. He won an additional runner-up title in the 5-Stand junior event with a score of 91 out 100 targets.

Kienbaum, who shoots with a standard Beretta DT11, achieved a champion podium honor and a runner-up podium finish in the Adios Cup and Super Sporting events with scores of 98/100 and 95/100, respectively.

Team Beretta shooters will continue their season at the upcoming 2019 ISSF World Cup in Changwon, South Korea from May 7-18 and the 2019 U.S. Open at M&M Hunting Preserve in Pennsville, NJ from May 12-19.
