National Air Rifle League Semifinal Results

Championship week is here for the National Air Rifle League; the games are set for both the Sporter and Precision leagues.

Precision League Semifinal Results

In the semifinal round of the 2025 National Precision Air Rifle League postseason, Everett Sportsman Junior Rifle Club clinched a spot in the championship with a 2492.2 to 2453.2 win over Granbury MCJROTC. The contest saw Everett Sportsman methodically expand its lead after each 10-shot string, starting with a razor-thin margin of just 0.2 after the first string, then jumping ahead by 7.7 after the second. Their advantage continued to grow at every stage—rising to 12.6, then 19.1, and 28.1—until capping off with a 39.0-point lead as the match concluded.

In a hard-fought semi-final match Lafayette Gun Club edged out American Legion Post 295 by a score of 2465.8 to 2457.7. Lafayette took charge early, claiming a 1.6-point lead after the first 10 shots and building a 9.4-point cushion by the second string. While American Legion Post 295 remained competitive, the margin held steady as the match progressed: Lafayette maintained an advantage after each subsequent segment, never relinquishing its lead.

Sporter League Semifinal Results

Fontana MCJROTC secured a spot in the championship match of the 2025 National Sporter Air Rifle League by defeating Palm Bay MCJROTC, 2319.7 to 2297.2. Fontana MCJROTC took early control in kneeling, building a 16-point lead. Despite a slight narrowing in prone, with their advantage trimmed to 7.6, Fontana’s shooters answered in the final standing stage—often considered the true test in three-position matches—widening the margin to a decisive 22.5 points.

Pascagoula NJROTC clinched a 2277.5–2245 victory against North Brunswick AJROTC in the semifinal round of the Championship Tournament. Pascagoula jumped out to an early lead following the kneeling stage, up by 7.3 points. That advantage widened in the prone segment—a phase generally considered the most stable position—where they expanded their lead to 27.5. In the standing portion, often the most technically challenging for competitors, Pascagoula further pulled away, finishing with a 32.5-point overall margin.

Sporter Invitational Semifinal Results

The postseason continued with high stakes in the 2025 National Sporter Air Rifle League as Trigger Time 4-H Shooting Education Club edged Ramona NJROTC, 2268.8 to 2254.6, in the semi-final round of the Champions Invitational Tournament. The match was neck-and-neck through its early stages. Trigger Time held a slim 2.8-point advantage after kneeling, but Ramona battled back and the teams were evenly matched following the prone stage—a position generally considered the most stable in three-position air rifle. In the demanding standing segment, Trigger Time pulled away, building a final 14.2-point lead to close out the win.

Lafayette Gun Club turned in a second-half comeback to defeat Kofa MCJROTC, 2206.1 to 2194.3, in the semi-final round of the Postseason Champions Invitational Tournament. The match’s progression underscored its drama: Kofa MCJROTC established a commanding 38-point advantage after kneeling and maintained a comfortable 23.4-point edge going out of prone—the most stable position. However, the decisive standing stage swung in favor of Lafayette Gun Club, whose athletes erased the deficit and finished with an 11.8-point lead, a testament to their steadiness in the match’s most challenging segment.
