Exciting things are happening in the Custom Shop as popularity of the show continues to expand opportunities for the teamto level up their game. Louie and the team take pride in showing the world the craft of gunsmithing, bridging the expert hand crafted workmanship with the latest hi-tech technology available. Every week a different gun is taken from a state of wear-and-tear to a pristine, often better than new, restoration. Each gun has a story to tell. Louie’s passion to reveal the soul of the gun, its personalhistory, and to highlight the connection to the person who own’s it is unparalleled and not to be missed. Unique in the firearms industry, Gunfather Restorations is keeping a long-held tradition of quality firearm restoration alive for viewers to witness.

As momentum grows for the series, partnerships are expanding to accommodate the demands of our high-quality gun repair/restorations business. Colt Manufacturing is the signature sponsor again this year. Custom Shop is a Colt Licensed dealer and enjoys a great working relationship with Colt. Because Louie is continually seeking to improve his craft, he added a sponsorship with Laser Marking Technology into the mix with a state-of-the-art laser engraving machine that allows intricate engraving of guns from basic restoration engraving to exquisite designs based on customer request. A new and improved Custom Shop will also be adding wood stock manufacturing to the cadre of services offered with a Techno CNC sponsorship.
