Southlake, TX: Today, the National Collegiate Shooting Sports Athletic Association (NCSSAA), a newly formed program focused on the growth and protection of the long-standing history of competitive shooting sports, is pleased to announce an agreement of support with USA Youth Education in Shooting Sports (USAYESS).
This agreement of support between the two organizations has been established with the mission to grow youth through collegiate shooting sports. The agreement provides novel college recruitment opportunities to USAYESS members through College Shooting Sports Recruiting. The agreement also further enhances events by hosting and marketing high school combines, high school participation at select NCSSAA regional events, and providing support from NCSSAA at USAYESS State, Regional, and National championships. In addition, NCSSAA will provide support to USAYESS with their coaching certification program. The coaching certification will help youth shooting coaches take their instruction to the next level, thoroughly preparing students to transition into collegiate shooting sports.
While USAYESS has 24 state organizations and a very strong presence in the west, NCSSAA will support their initiatives to help continue to grow and establish a strong presence in the east as well.
USAYESS was founded in 2013 and exists to develop, grow, and support state foundations and associations that use hands-on events, shooting sports, wildlife habitat and conservation programs to introduce and educate youth and their families about safe firearm handling, shooting sports, outdoor conservation, and other outdoor activities.
About NCSSAA: The National Collegiate Shooting Sports Athletic Association was founded in 2022 as a subsidiary of FutureU Sports Corp (501c3) and a sister company of the industry leading College Shooting Sports Recruiting. NCSSAA is committed to creating, developing, and growing a premier program for collegiate student athletes and teams while protecting the long-standing history of competitive shooting sports.
