A $10,000 grant on behalf of the Allen County, Indiana Whitetails Unlimited Chapter was issued to the Ideal Fish & Game Club. The club is located in Churubusco, Indiana and currently has a 5 bench rifle range. With the additional funds, the club plans to increase the number of benches to 12. Each bench will also be situated on concrete with an overhead cover.

Currently the club’s rifle range is utilized by various youth shooting sports programs and local law enforcement. A clubhouse is also situated on the grounds and is used by local DNR to teach hunter safety courses. Although the rifle range will be seeing most of the improvements, there is also a trap facility used by area high school trap teams.
