Creators and Hosts Attend Panel Discussion on May 9 at NOON at Sie Film Center

DENVER (May 3, 2022) – Outdoor Channel will present a panel discussion – Hollywood Weapons: Fact or Fiction during the annual SeriesFest 2022 on Monday, May 9 at NOON at the Sie Film Center in downtown Denver.

After two years of virtual attendance, SeriesFest, the award-winning annual festival based in Denver, Colorado, dedicated to showcasing the best and boldest in episodic storytelling, invites the creators and hosts of the popular Outdoor Channel showHollywood Weapons to discuss current events in Hollywood, the importance of safety and whether or not stunts and scenes that are depicted on the big and small screens of movies and television are actually viable in real life. The “movie mythbusters”-type of show offers unwavering analysis of some of the most popular television and movie action scenes in the history of the mediums in a fun, entertaining and educational way by experts in the industry in order to answer the question: “Could that ever happen in real life?”

Outdoor Channel's Hollywood Weapons dissects some of Hollywood's iconic action sequences and puts them to the test in the real world while emphasizing safety standards on set. The SeriesFest panel, moderated by Outdoor Sportsman Group Vice President of Program Planning & Scheduling Katie Gladstone, includes the show's expert hosts Terry Schappert and top film and television armorer, Larry Zanoff, along with creators Dan Ramm and Jon Carter as they discuss best practices for set safety without compromising the integrity of the storytelling in multi-million-dollar projects.
