The Police Academy Program allows recruits to easily order an Otis Police/Tactical Handgun Cleaning Kit in the caliber pertinent to their needs. Informational flyers and order forms are provided at the various academies across the country.

The Otis Police/Tactical Handgun Cleaning Kit features a Ripcord® for quick Breech-to-Muzzle® field cleaning and added cleaning gear – brush, mop, jag, patches, brass rod with swivel handle. It also includes Shooter’s Choice FP-10 Lubricant Elite® and MC-7 Bore Cleaner. Lastly, it includes personal protective equipment – nitrile gloves and lead remover hand wipes.

This kit comes as a non-caliber specific cleaning kit and then recruits choose to have it configured in the caliber of their choice – 9mm, .40cal or .45cal. There are optional add-on expansion packs for recruits that want to customize their cleaning kit to maintain more than one caliber. Each cleaning kit can be customized with the Police Academy’s logo and includes a place for the Police Officer to write his or her name. This program is exclusive through Kiesler Police Supply for 2019.

While this buying program is exclusive through Kiesler Police Supply, law enforcement can purchase the complete Police/Tactical Handgun Cleaning Kits in 9mm, .40cal or .45cal through their dealer of choice.
