Chapin, S.C. – On Friday, United Sporting Companies announced a plan to consolidate its Bellefontaine, OH and Salt Lake City, UT distribution facilities into its existing Chapin and Newberry, SC facilities.

The consolidation will reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and optimize the utilization of the USC distribution network. The closure of the Bellefontaine, Ohio and Salt Lake City, Utah operations is expected to be complete by July 2019.

“We continue to look for ways to better serve our customers; we are committed to identifying cost savings opportunities and increasing efficiencies. The rationalization of this facility is the outcome of these efforts,” said United Sporting Companies Chairman and CEO Brad Johnson.

United Sporting Companies will continue to serve all of its customers across the United States from the Chapin and Newberry, SC distribution centers.
