Guidefitter and POMA Partner to Elevate and Support Professional Outdoor Media

Collaboration streamlines Insider access for POMA members and strengthens the connection between media, brands, and outdoor professionals

Guidefitter, an emerging leader in outdoor recreation technology dedicated to strengthening connections between brands, professionals, and the outdoor community, today announced the launch of a new strategic partnership with the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA), the premier organization representing the nation’s most trusted outdoor communicators.

For decades, professional outdoor media have played a defining role in how hunters, anglers, conservationists, and outdoor enthusiasts discover new products, understand emerging trends, and learn from the experts shaping the industry. POMA stands at the center of that work, setting high membership standards and representing the journalists, creators, and communicators who help move the outdoor industry forward.

“Outdoor media shape the stories and conversations that guide this industry forward,” said Robert Sexton, Executive Director of POMA. “Our members work every day to inform the public with accuracy and authenticity—qualities that matter now more than ever. This partnership with Guidefitter supports their work and deepens their connection to the brands and professionals they cover.”

As part of the partnership, Guidefitter has begun providing streamlined, pre-approved Insider access to all current POMA members—officially welcoming them into Guidefitter’s broader network of licensed guides, outfitters, educators, and other verified outdoor professionals. As Guidefitter “Insiders,” POMA members receive VIP-level benefits from more than 300 leading outdoor brands, affirming the critical role they play in connecting the industry while also helping them learn more about these brands and products.

“POMA members help the entire outdoor ecosystem stay informed,” said Cheyenne Wallace, Manager of Business Development at Guidefitter. “They tell the stories behind the gear, the people, and the conservation work happening across the country. We’re proud to welcome them into the Guidefitter Insider network and to support the critical role they play.”

Guidefitter has also launched a dedicated POMA Association Page, which is now live. The page offers POMA a new digital presence inside Guidefitter’s community, enabling the organization to share updates, highlight member achievements, and connect with professionals across the industry. It additionally provides a clear point of entry for other outdoor media professionals interested in POMA membership.

Other national membership associations and nonprofit organizations dedicated to outdoor education, wildlife and wild spaces conservation, or shooting sports, similar to POMA and the International Hunter Ed Association (IHEA), are encouraged to contact partners@guidefitter.com to learn more about partnership opportunities with Guidefitter.
