(Grand Island, Nebr.) — Hornady® 6mm ARC has been named the 2021 Shooting Illustrated Ammunition Product of the Year as part of the National Rifle Association’s Publications Golden Bullseye Awards.
The 6mm ARC was developed to maximize the versatility of the AR-15 platform. This cartridge produces substantially better ballistics than the 223 Rem and 224 Valkyrie in a platform with 30% less weight than an AR-10/308 Win. system. The 6mm ARC delivers unprecedented performance from the AR-15 and outstanding barrel life. While originally developed for a specialized group within the U.S. DoD, it is ideal for hunting, match shooting and personal defense applications.
