T.R.U. Ball Archery Hosts S3DA Instructor Training

Williamsburg, KY – As a strong supporter of both archery and family values, T.R.U. Ball Archery has a long-standing tradition of helping S3DA™ grow archery and bowhunter numbers. S3DA™ archers and their families are using T.R.U. Ball & Axcel products when harvesting their dream trophies or when simply shooting in the backyard. Whether on the shooting line or in a tree stand, having the best equipment is important to gain confidence in yourself. T.R.U. Ball Archery’s goal is to bring archery to as many people as possible.

In a continued effort of collaboration based on the combined goals of both, T.R.U. Ball Archery will be host to an S3DA Basic and Advanced Archery Instructor Training Course in Madison Heights, Virginia.

·The Basic Archery Instructor Course will be on Saturday, April 4th, 2020, beginning at 10:00am and concluding at approximately 5:00pm.

·The Advanced Archery Instructor Course will be on Sunday, April 5th, 2020, beginning at 9:00am and concluding at approximately 4:00pm.

Upon successful completion of the course, the candidates earn certification as either S3DA Basic or Advanced Instructors. With the Advanced certification, they will be qualified to teach the S3DA Basic 3-D Archery Instructor certification classes as well as teach children the skills needed to participate and compete in S3DA archery events at regional, state and national levels.

Brandon Reyes, Director of Marketing for T.R.U. Ball states, “T.R.U. Ball Archery has been dedicated to growing the grassroots of archery and we will continue to support these organizations such as Scholastic 3-D Archery. We are excited to host training courses at our home facility and bring more attention to Scholastic 3-D Archery.”

Please go to https://www.s3da.org/calendar/ for more information on this event, as well as upcoming events. If you are interested in attending either or both of the training classes, please contact Jake Martin via e-mail jake@s3da.org.

About Scholastic 3-D Archery

Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA™) is a unique, family-oriented youth archery program which has grown exponentially across the United States as a next-step initiative to follow introductory archery programs. The mission of the Scholastic

3-D Archery program is to foster, educate and guide youth in the areas of 3-D, indoor target and outdoor target archery as well as safe, ethical bowhunting practices. The goal of the S3DA™ program is to provide archery and bowhunting opportunities to youth in after-school settings, as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community. S3DA™ students participate in 3-D and target archery using compound and traditional archery equipment. Students can participate at local, regional, state and national archery events and earn college scholarships from colleges and universities across the United States. S3DA™ addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3-D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving thousands of young archers, grades 3–12.
