Taylor’s & Company’s TC9 Wins Conceal Carry Editor’s Choice Award

Winchester, VA – (March 6, 2023) Taylor’s & Company, the world’s leading marketers and importers of state-of-the-art historical firearms utilizing the latest innovative designs, is proud to announce they won Conceal Carry Magazines’ “Editors’ Choice” award for their TC9 9mm Revolver. The TC9 was introduced in the Lifestyle Series in late 2022. The TC9 family includes four reproduction models of the 1873 Cattleman revolver, the most iconic six-gun model ever offered.

The USCCA believes in bringing their members and subscribers only the highest quality products, education and training. That’s why they created the "Editors’ Choice" award program. This award is designated in each issue for a product that really stands out to the editorial team at Concealed Carry Magazine.

The editorial team uses this award to show their readers something that’s caught their eye and piqued their interest above and beyond all the other great products that appear in Conceal Carry Magazine. The Taylor's and Company’s TC9 earned that badge of recognition and was featured in the Nov/Dec 2022 issue of the magazine.

"We are thrilled to have this honor bestowed upon our state-of-the-art TC9 9mm Revolver," said Tammy Loy, Owner & CEO, Taylor's & Company. "Taylor's & Company represents innovative reproductions and historical firearms and our TC9 is an excellent example of that. We are honored and humbled by this prestigious award.”

The new TC9 9mm pistol is offered in two styles; a large, army-size, walnut-checkered grip and a black-checkered standard size grip. The checkered grip gives increased performance and faster sight acquisition. The new TC9 utilizes a side-loading gate and an ejector rod housed within the loading lever assembly for easy loading, unloading and reloading. This 9mm revolver clone has a steel frame with a rear frame notch and a fixed front blade sight. This iconic 9mm 1873 Cattleman revolver is offered a in a black checkered grip and case-hardened frame and a checkered larger size walnut grip with blued steel finish. Both versions are available in 4.75” and 5.5” barrel lengths.

"That TC9's a handy little sidearm,” said Ed Combs, Senior Editor, Conceal Carry Magazine. “The classic lines and reliability of the Model 1873 combine with the economy and performance of the 9x19mm cartridge to make an extremely versatile package. It's ideal for everything from affordable plinking and pest control to serving as an EDC piece for those who - for whatever reason - want to carry a single-action revolver. I'm a fan."

All their firearms are made using precision machinery and high-quality materials with one goal in mind - to create faithful reproductions of Civil War, Old West, hunting, and defense guns from the 19th century.
