Austin, TX – Magpul is expanding its Hunter Lite stock line with the release of the Remington 700 variant, providing hunters with lightweight yet fully featured stocks centered around Magpul quality, durability, and reliability.

Hunter Lite Stocks were designed and purpose-built for rifles chambered in short-action cartridges to provide hunters with a more maneuverable and easier to carry chassis for those days when every ounce matters in the field. It's a streamlined version of our original Hunter Stock line that reduces the overall weight and dimensions by almost 25%.

Despite its reduced weight and width, the Hunter Lite is still customizable and individually adjustable to meet the needs of a demanding hunt. They’re convertible to both right and left-handed rifles by simply swapping out the included inserts in the stock, and the ambidextrous magazine release further improves ergonomics for shooters. The receiver is supported by an extruded aluminum V-bedding block and reinforced steel pillars, providing increased strength and rigidity that prevent compression and deformation while shooting. The result is greater consistency in shooting for repeatable, precise shots.

The Hunter Lite’s enhanced ergonomics include a buttstock with removable half-inch spacers to adjust LOP, snap-on cheek risers for comb-height adjustment, and an enlarged trigger guard for comfortable use with gloves. Like all other Magpul hunting stocks, the forend features multiple M-LOK slots to accommodate your choice of M-LOK accessories such as bipods, and it’s compatible with barrel profiles up to Medium Palma. For carriage, the buttstock and forend include integral sling swivel studs for use with a variety of slings.

Like all of Magpul’s other stocks, the Hunter Lite Stock for the Remington 700 are all made in the USA. It joins our Hunter Lite Stock for the Savage Axis and a Hunter Lite stock for the Ruger American will be available very soon to further bring its capabilities to more of America's favorite short action rifles.
