Koenig's Historic 13th Bianchi Cup Will Air This Summer on Sportsman Channel
"I have to say, winning my 13th Bianchi Cup is just as sweet as any other "Cup" in my trophy case," said Doug Koenig, host of Doug Koenig's Championship Season. "This is a very tough match to win and having the film crew recording the action was exciting for me - win or lose. We're looking forward to the great season of new episodes on Sportsman Channel."
Koenig entered the last of his four events, the moving target event, with a perfect match score - zero dropped points and a perfect "x" count. After a week of turbulent weather patterns that caused the range staff to reschedule shooting times for many competitors, Koenig entered his last event in first place. Koenig put together an impressive showing at the moving target event and kept every shot in the "10" ring - only dropping five "x's" to claim a new Championship record score and his thirteenth National Action Pistol Championship.
