Trophy Grade™ Ammunition

Nosler® has changed its Trophy Grade™ ammunition packaging for 2012. To strengthen brand equity, and better differentiate between the Trophy Grade™ and NoslerCustom® Handloaded offerings, all Trophy Grade™ ammunition will henceforth be labeled simply as Nosler® Trophy Grade™ ammunition. The new packaging reflects this change while also changing color to a black box.

Six new offerings have been added to the Trophy Grade™ line for 2012.

Bullets

For 2012 Nosler® has created a revolutionary new line of varmint bullets properly named Varmageddon™. AccuBond®

Nosler®, Inc. the world's leading manufacturer of the finest grade hunting bullets has announced a new .338 300-grain AccuBond®. Designed with long-range shooters in mind, this heavyweight, .720 B.C. AccuBond® provides the first 300 grain, bonded-core bullet for precision long-range shooting.

Also new for 2012, the .358 200-grain AccuBond® is designed to offer a lighter-weight, bonded-bullet option for fans of the .358 caliber cartridges.

All Nosler® AccuBond® bullets feature distinctive white polymer tips that prevent deformation in the magazine, boost aerodynamic efficiency, and initiate expansion. This bullet also features a well-defined boat tail that serves to reduce drag and provide a more efficient flight profile for higher retained energy at long range.

Ballistic Tip®

After receiving countless requests for a 6.5mm bullet capable of long-range accuracy and lethal terminal performance, it was an easy and essential decision to add a 6.5mm-140gr bullet to Nosler's world famous Ballistic Tip® Hunting line for 2012.

Designed with a high ballistic coefficient of .509, the increased aerodynamic efficiency, precise downrange accuracy and reduced wind drag make this the ideal 6.5mm bullet for all practical ranges. Nosler's unique extrusion manufacturing process gives the Ballistic Tip® bullet a robust copper base for increased weight retention and a tapered jacket for reliable expansion over a wide range of velocities. The polymer tip is designed to improve the bullet's ballistic coefficient, and initiate immediate expansion upon impact.

Custom Competition™

Competitive shooters will be pleased to learn that Nosler® has announced that they are expanding their Custom Competition™ line of bullets for 2012 to include 6.5mm-123gr, 7mm-168gr and .308-140gr bullets, packaged in 100 and 250 count boxes.

Nosler® has blended the accuracy of its Custom Competition™ bullet jackets with its own ultra-precise lead-alloy cores to create The New Match Standard™ for rifle and pistol bullets. The hollow point provides a small meplat for reduced drag and increased aerodynamic efficiency while the pronounced boat tail design provides excellent flight characteristics over a wide range of velocities.

Sporting Handgun™

Nosler® will be adding a .45-230gr JHP to their Sporting Handgun™ line in 2012.
