Crimson Trace® to Host World's First And Only Midnight 3-Gun Invitational

(Wilsonville, OR) Crimson Trace, maker of the industries finest laser and lighting systems for personal defense, is hosting the world's First Annual Midnight 3-Gun Invitational this summer. This three night competition will take place just outside of Bend, Oregon in the high desert. What makes this 3-Gun Event so unique? The entire shooting competition will take place at night, in complete darkness. Competition will kick off just after sunset July 16 and continue into the wee hours of the morning each evening, with the closing ceremony the afternoon of July 18. The top 3-gunners in the nation, such as Jerry Miculek and Juli Golob, are registered and scheduled to compete.

Competitors are encouraged to use thermal imaging and night vision equipment in conjunction with Crimson Trace lasers and lights on the custom designed, eight stage course for this event. Even world class shooters will be a bit un-nerved and challenged in these unique conditions to see who comes out of the darkness with at least $6,000 of prize money in hand.

Originally conceived as a promotion of the great business leaders from the Pacific Northwest, the support from industry giants from the PNW has been overwhelming. Sponsors backing and attending the competition include: Leupold & Stevens, Flir, Nosler, Danner/LaCrosse, Primary Weapons Systems, Colt Competition, Warne Scope Mounts, Nike and MGM Targets. The event has gained such popularity that folks like Otis Technology, an ardent 3-Gun supporter, will also be in attendance all the way from Lyons, NY.

With the support from sponsors and Crimson Trace's efforts, the total cash purse is $6,000. However, if the winning shooter is victorious running Crimson Trace Laser and/or Lighting systems, the prize jumps to a whopping $10,000. And, with a prize table second to none, thanks to the elite group of sponsors listed above, the Crimson Trace Midnight 3-Gun is sure to have the industry buzzing for months.

All invited shooters are asked to register immediately as registration was scheduled to close this week. Crimson Trace will keep the registration website live for shooters who have yet to sign up and would like to compete. Hurry - last call is May 22nd! You don't have a chance at that cash purse or prize table unless you compete!
