HOUSTON, Texas - Comp-Tac Victory Gear, a leading manufacturer of holsters for competition and concealed carry, announced they will be sponsoring the 2012 Texas State IDPA Championship taking place this weekend in Greenville, Texas.

In addition to sponsoring the match, Comp-Tac Victory Gear will be represented in competition by Team Comp-Tac members Randi Rogers, Gordon Carrell, and Gregg Garrett, company president and captain of the shooting team.

With temperatures on the range expected to approach 100 degrees, Comp-Tac is offering shooters an escape from the hot Texas sun and inviting them to stop by their fully air conditioned vendor tent. Not only will competitors be able to cool off, but the Comp-Tac tent will feature a full selection of holsters, magazine pouches, and belts available for purchase on-site.

"Team Comp-Tac is looking forward to this year's Texas State IDPA Championship. As our home state's championship event this match means a great deal to us as both sponsors and competitors," explained Garrett.

We think it might end up being the most popular stage of the match," quipped Garrett.

The Texas State IDPA Championship, one of IDPA's major matches, takes place Saturday, June 30, at the Jacob's Plain Gun Club in Greenville. The match features 12 unique and challenging stages and is sold out with 210 total competitors.
