Matarese, shooting with a DT11, topped the podium in the main event with a score of 98 out of 100 targets.

Sorantino, who shoots a Beretta A400 Xcel, also achieved champion honors in the ladies’ main sporting event with a score of 89 targets, besting her nearest competitor by 6 targets.

Greenwood achieved several first-place finishes in 4 different events at the 2018 Kansas Sporting Clays Championship. He topped the podium as the Kansas State Junior champion with a score of 185 targets, a score that also secured his place as the Kansas State resident high-overall champion.

“We are thrilled with the results that the Team Beretta shooters have been delivering throughout this 2018 season,” Brenda Morgal, Marketing Operations and Events Manager at Beretta USA, said.  “With only 4 1/2 months left until the end of the competition year, which culminates with the National Championships in San Antonio, TX, we know that our team will continue to perform at the stellar level that they have achieved thus far.”

Greenwood also achieved champion honors in the preliminary, Oakley Cup Junior, and Wildcat Cup Junior events with scores of 96, 93, and 83 targets, respectively.

The team’s season will continue with the upcoming World English Championship in London from June 25-July 1 and World FITASC Sporting Championship in France from July 12-July 15.
