The match was held on June 1st at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta, Illinois.

Laura had this to say about the match, "The stages contained a variety of challenges for every skill level. It required the discipline to match distance and target area with the proper site picture. About Laura Torres-Reyes

Laura Torres-Reyes first started shooting at the young age of 46 after her retired Marine Corps husband taught her how to safely handle a firearm. Prior to being selected to join Team ITI she was a member of Team Smith & Wesson for two years. Colonel Torres-Reyes, a Bronze Star and Legion of Merit recipient, is an Active Duty Air Force physician currently stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Doctor Torres-Reyes competes in IDPA as an SSP EX and USPSA Production C class and has earned over forty High Lady and High Military State / Regional Championship titles.
