J. Dewey Rods' Tischauser Takes Title at Benelli Tactical

Oxford, Connecticut – J Dewey Rods Pro Shooter Jesse Tischauser secured his second major victory of the 2015 season by taking the Outlaw Division title at the Benelli Tactical Championship this past weekend, August 7-8th, at the Rockcastle Shooting Center in Park City, Kentucky.

Facing off against 110 competitors from the United States and Canada, Tischauser claimed 866.0 match points and the heavily contested Outlaw division title finishing a mere 5.2 points and less than 1% ahead of Team Remington's Rob Romero. Team Benelli's Jacob Betsworth (829.0 points) finished in 3rd followed by 3-Gun Nation Pro Dillen Easley (819.5 points) in 4th and Team Benelli's Lance Dingler (791.9) rounded out the top 5 in 5th place.

"This year we saw a change of pace for the annual Rockcastle Championship," said Tischauser. "With the IPSC World Shotgun Shoot coming up next month in Italy, Match Director Mark Passamaneck used IPSC rules and scoring to help prepare the American shooters for their run at a world title. We had to change our American Outlaw style of run and gun shot gunning to that of the technical and accuracy based shooting you find in IPSC shotgun. Having shot on the winning 2012 Pan American U.S. IPSC team was definitely an advantage for me at this match."

Next up for Team Dewy Rod's Tischauser is the country's largest 3-gun match, the ProAm 3- Gun Championship back at the Rockcastle Shooting Center in less than two weeks.
