Redding Acquires Additional Machinery, Continues to Serve Growing Demand

Cortland, NY…….The precision handloading market has seen astounding growth over the past few years. With a continued emphasis on technical long-range rifle shooting throughout a number of specific disciplines, the demand for high precision handloading tools has continued to grow. The growth is anticipated to be a sustained pattern as major rifle manufacturers are introducing new long-range rifle platforms as recently as last month.

Over this period Redding Reloading Equipment has responded with added manufacturing space, equipment and personnel but some lead times were still longer than they wished. An additional thirteen new CNC Machining centers and a host of other equipment was added during this time. Now three more new pieces of production machinery have been purchased along with the addition of the necessary staff for their efficient operation. These new machines are quickly coming on-line and, are anticipated to be fully integrated into the production process by early fall. The result of these efforts has been a dramatic decrease in order-to- ship time, allowing retailers to more quickly respond to their customers needs with the quality equipment they demand.

The primary focus at Redding is and will always be quality. The ramp-up of their production could only be accomplished at a pace where the Redding quality standard did not suffer. This phased approach, over the past few years, has benefited the company and the precision handloader as well. The results allow the company to generate the needed quantities of product at the required level of quality and on a far more time critical basis.

Redding has always believed that the quality standard is foremost in all manufacturing decision making.

Redding Reloading Equipment has focused on building the finest quality, American Made products for the precision handloading market since 1946. To learn more about our ongoing commitment to the precision handloader and to request a copy of the new 2015 Redding catalog visit:
