Does Your Closed Captioning Company Understand You?

The FCC Requires it. It would be better if it's what you actually said.

Temecula, CA - Jonna B. Sada has announced the launch of Caliber Captioners, along with a team of transcription and captioning experts, who bring more than 30 combined years of experience captioning hunting, shooting, and outdoor-genre TV shows.

Caliber Captioners, based in the former California location of Outdoor Channel, is the team of high-speed transcription experts who spent more than 10 years captioning network and producer shows. Outdoor and Sportsman's Channels no longer offer captioning to producers from an experienced in-house captioning team.

The Caliber Captioning team has more experience in outdoor genre terms and names than any other service available to producers.

"Our team knows the difference between a dik-dik and a duiker, a coos deer and a blacktail, the red stag of New Zealand, and the magnificent Rocky Mountain elk in the states," says President, Jonna Sada. "We're familiar with the names of outfitters, lingo, and jargon. We know the different kinds of ammo and that there's a decimal point before .22 and .357, but not for 7mm Mag. We understand the difference between a crossbow and a recurve and can accurately transcribe whispering in a treestand or blind."

The FCC rules require accurate captioning in all programming and captioning on the internet for any segment that has previously aired on cable or broadcast TV. The files are different in each case and different for broadcasting in Canada. Caliber Captioners can deliver all forms of captioning for producers with multiple delivery system needs.

"And we're fast on turn-around," says Sada. "With internet delivery, you'll have your compatible captioning file on time to meet network show delivery requirements."

Producers are invited to contact Caliber Captioners for a quote on services, delivery times, and logistics.

Sada says, "It's time the audience reading captioning actually understands your words in the field."
