No. 3 Daniel Defense Chevrolet Camaro at Dover Speedway

Black Creek, GA– Daniel Defense, manufacturer of the world's finest firearms and accessories, is pleased to announce the debut of the No. 3 Daniel Defense Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR XFINITY Series OneMain Financial 200. The race will take place at Dover International Speedway on Saturday, June 3 at 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

The Dover race will mark the first of three XFINITY Series races in which Daniel Defense will be the primary sponsor of the Richard Childress Racing No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro. As part of Daniel Defense's primary sponsorship, the legendary car, driven by Ty Dillon, will be fully wrapped in Daniel Defense's yellow and black and feature the signature Double D's across the hood of the car. Daniel Defense will also be an associate sponsor on the car for 16 additional races during the 2017 season in which the Daniel Defense logo will be located just over the rear side windows of the car.

"I've always been a competitive person, and the competitive nature of NASCAR was one of the initial draws for me," said Daniel Defense Executive VP/CMO Cindy Daniel. "NASCAR is one of the longest running sports in the U.S. and has a large following. I felt that these considerations made Richard Childress Racing (RCR) a great fit for our brand. We're proud to partner with an organization that does not shy away from freedom and firearms."

Daniel Defense's NASCAR debut is part of an evolving partnership with RCR. The Daniels became acquainted with NASCAR Hall of Fame team owner Richard Childress through their involvement with the National Rifle Association. Currently serving as the First Vice President for the National Rifle Association, Childress is no stranger to the firearms industry. "Our shared core values and, specifically, a commitment to the Second Amendment has shaped the relationship we have today," said Daniel.

Childress' youngest grandson Ty Dillon will serve as the primary driver of the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro during the 2017 season. Dillon, who has competed in the XFINITY Series full time in each of the last three seasons, will race select XFINITY Series races in 2017 while also competing full time in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Dillon finished fifth in the XFINITY Series standings in 2016.

Daniel Defense's inaugural race in Dover is just the beginning of what promises to be a successful and enduring partnership with Richard Childress Racing. "We're here for the long haul," said Daniel, "and I think there are a lot of checkered flags coming our way."
