Krieghoff’s Lindsay Plesko has a Miraculous Performance at the World Skeet Championships

Ottsville, PA — With an outstanding overall score of 445/450 targets, Lindsay Plesko was crowned HOA Women’s Champion at the World Skeet Championships culminating in San Antonio over the weekend.

Overcoming amazing adversity after having two back herniation surgeries that left her wondering if she’d ever have a normal life again—much less return to shooting, Lindsay’s performance was nothing short of miraculous. She began her terrific streak of championship wins with the 12 gauge event on Tuesday of last week and later conquered the field in both the 28 gauge and the final .410 bore competition on Friday.

Lindsay commented, “After spending 49 days being unable to walk and having had two back surgeries to correct a major herniation earlier this year, it goes to show you what a lot of hard work, sheer determination and support from your family, friends and sponsors can do. Without the kindness, guidance and support I have had, I doubt I would have been able to compete in the 2018 World Championships much less win. Together we won.”

The Krieghoff family is immensely proud of the grit, determination, and talent that Lindsay exhibits. She is not only an outstanding shooter, but an amazing woman.
