Mississippi 3-D State Championship

Williamsburg, KY – Mississippi is new to S3DA and they are just starting to develop and grow. Mississippi S3DA held their 1st ever Indoor Shoot this past December and their 1st ever 3-D State Championship on May 19th, 2018 in Jackson, Mississippi with several archers present from 3 different clubs.

Mississippi State Coordinator, Renee Roberts stated, “I am so excited to see what the future holds for our state. We have already seen much interest and eagerness to help. Special thanks goes out to Duke Greene for allowing us to use his range on such short notice and to Leslie Sowell for helping to organize the event.

Southern Draw archer, Jordan Roberts stated, “It was great to get out of my comfort zone of shooting target archery.  It’s so different… having to stand with one foot on a log or a small hill.

Mississippi Regional Coordinator and Head Coach of Southern Draw, Ronald Roberts said, “We are thankful for the beautiful weather, the challenging course, and the great new connections we were able to make.”
