Today is our final edition for 2025. All the wires of the Outdoor Wire Digital Network will be back on their regular distribution schedule starting Monday, January 5, 2026. If you have news for the January 5 editions, please submit releases by 4:30p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026. The Supplier Wire will begin publishing on Friday, January 9, 2026, with additional January editions publishing on Friday, January 16 and Friday, January 23. We look forward to being back with you in January and wish you and yours a safe, happy and healthy holiday season.

The Outdoor Wire Digital Network will begin its annual holiday break this Friday, December 19, which will be our final day of publication for 2025. We will be back on our regular distribution schedule starting Monday, January 5, 2026. Please note that releases received after 2p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, December 18, are not guaranteed to make Friday’s editions.

In observance of Thanksgiving, we won’t be publishing any of our wires the rest of this week. Don’t worry, we’ll be back in your mailboxes again next Monday. In the meantime, we wish you and yours a safe, healthy and blessed Thanksgiving.

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the Outdoor Wire Digital Network will not be publishing on Thursday, November 27 or Friday, November 28. Please note that next week, releases received after 2:00pm Eastern Time on Tuesday, November 25 are not guaranteed to make Wednesday’s editions. If the releases are not time-sensitive, they will be included in our editions beginning Monday, December 1, 2025. We wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving.

In observance of Veterans Day we will not be distributing any of our services on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. The Outdoor Wire Digital Network will resume our normal distribution schedule on Wednesday, November 12. Time-sensitive material for distribution before Veterans Day should be submitted no later than 2:30pm Eastern time on Sunday, November 9 for inclusion in our Monday, November 10 editions. Material received after that time will be included in our Wednesday, November 12 editions, if appropriate.

In observance of the Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples Day holiday we will not be distributing any of our services on Monday, October 13. The Outdoor Wire Digital Network will resume our normal distribution schedule on Tuesday, October 14. Due to the holiday weekend, we request you submit news for Tuesday’s editions no later than 2:30pm ET Saturday.

Eighty-one years ago today, Allied forces crossed the English Channel and began the assault of Europe that meant the end of Nazi occupation and the end of WWII in the European Theatre. There are few of those assaulters left today, but we all owe them a debt of gratitude. They’re part of that “Greatest Generation” that preserved freedom in its time of greatest peril. And we thank them all.

If you have news for publication on Tuesday, May 27, please submit it by 3:00pm Eastern on Saturday, May 24.

In observance of the federal holiday, the Outdoor Wire Digital Network will not be distributing any of our services on Monday, February 17. We’ll be back in your email on Tuesday, February 18.

First, we will not be distributing wires on Monday, January 20 in observance of the MLK holiday. Second, starting January 18, the Outdoor Wire Digital Network will be publishing our combined editions of the Outdoor, Shooting, Tactical and Dealer Wires. Instead of these individual services, subscribers will receive daily SHOT Show Special Editions that combine these services. Due to the volume of SHOT Show related news, we will be publishing a morning and afternoon version of the SHOT Show Special Editions, Thursday, January 16 through Friday, January 24. On Monday, January 27, we will wrap up our SHOT Show coverage with one final special edition.

Today is our final edition for 2024. All the wires of the Outdoor Wire Digital Network will be back on their regular distribution schedules starting Monday, January 6, 2025. The Supplier Wire will begin publishing on Friday, January 3, 2025, and publish weekly through January in support of the SHOT Show’s Supplier Showcase. If you have news for the January 6 editions, please submit releases by 4:30p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025. We look forward to being back with you in January and wish you and yours a safe, happy and healthy holiday season. While we’re bringing down our curtain for 2024, it’s not too-late for you to help those in need. In addition to the many not-for-profits that help wildlife, fund conservation and continue to defend our individual rights, there are also companies onboard with the spirit of giving.
