Airgun Sporting Association Partners with Industry Leaders to Raise $10,000 for Student Air Rifle Program's 10th Anniversary

The Airgun Sporting Association (ASA) announced a major fundraising initiative aimed at generating $10,000 in support of the Student Air Rifle (SAR) Program. This milestone campaign coincides with the SAR program's tenth year of introducing school-age youth to the sport of target shooting and emphasizes the industry's commitment to growing the next generation of safe, responsible shooters.

To reach this $10,000 goal, the ASA is collaborating with Pyramyd Air and Airgun Depot, the airgun industry's two largest retailers, to leverage their established charitable checkout platforms. By encouraging community-wide participation, the initiative seeks to provide the Student Air Rifle Program with the critical resources needed to expand its reach in schools across the country.

"The Airgun Sporting Association's support is a major step forward for the Student Air Rifle Program," said Jake Hindman, Founder, President, and CEO of the Student Air Rifle (SAR) Program. "This partnership strengthens the connection between youth shooting sports and the airgun industry and will help us equip more schools, train more coaches, and introduce more students to safe, responsible target shooting."

To jumpstart the campaign, the ASA has committed to matching all customer contributions dollar-for-dollar until their $5,000 matching cap is reached, effectively ensuring the program hits its $10,000 total objective through the power of collective giving.

How to Help Reach the $10,000 Goal

The SAR program has become a cornerstone for youth development, thanks to the long-term support of the ASA and dedicated members like Umarex, Crosman, Daisy and HatsonUSA. Throughout 2026, the community can contribute to the $10,000 target through the following checkout options:

Reaching this $10,000 goal will provide direct financial support for junior athlete equipment, competition entry fees, and safety education. These funds directly benefit the Student Air Rifle Program, which provides a structured, safe, and competitive shooting environment for athletes ranging from elementary school through college age.
