Target shooting will be prohibited for safety at Dogwood Wildlife Management Area from April 1 to June 31, 2026, as early season intensive grazing will be occurring.

Target shooting will reopen at Dogwood WMA once grazing has concluded.

Grazing will provide many wildlife benefits to this area necessary to maintain an early successional state of vegetation important for wildlife habitat.
