
Krieghoff International is seeking a skilled Gunsmith to join its U.S. Service Center in Ottsville, Pennsylvania.
This full-time position is ideal for a graduate of an accredited gunsmithing school or college who has strong mechanical ability, exceptional attention to detail, and a desire to continue developing their craft. Working under limited supervision, the successful candidate will repair, build, modify, refurbish, and test competition shotguns while receiving factory, hands-on training from Krieghoff Master Gunsmiths.
Responsibilities include servicing and repairing break-open competition shotguns, performing mechanical diagnostics, restoring and refinishing firearms, operating manual machine tools and traditional gunsmithing equipment, test-firing firearms, and making final functional adjustments. Occasional travel to major shooting events throughout the United States is required to provide factory service and support.
Qualified applicants should hold a degree from an accredited gunsmithing school or college. Previous professional gunsmithing experience, particularly with break-open shotguns, is preferred. Candidates should also have experience using hand files and other traditional gunsmithing tools, demonstrate a commitment to precision craftsmanship, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
