LAS VEGAS — SHOT University™ has issued a call for presentations for its educational sessions at the 2027 NSSF® SHOT Show®. SHOT University will take place Jan. 19–21 during the 2027 SHOT Show in Las Vegas.

SHOT University is the highly regarded educational program that shares models of success with the goal of elevating professionalism and business success across the firearm industry. At its core, SHOT University attracts decision makers primarily from firearm retailers and shooting range businesses. Professionals from the conservation community, manufacturers, suppliers and trade media also attend.

Presentation Details

Proposed presentations must fit within the 45-minute session timeframe and should include at least five minutes dedicated to audience questions and answers.

Presentation proposals that are interactive in nature and include handouts, such as course booklets and/or white papers, are strongly encouraged.

Presentation submissions are due by Aug. 3, 2026. Submissions received after this date will not be considered.

Presenters will be notified of acceptance via email by Aug. 10, 2026. Presentation selections are at the sole discretion of NSSF.

• Diversifying Your Customer Base
• Indoor and Outdoor Shooting Range Operations
• OSHA and EPA Compliance for Shooting Ranges
• Member Retention/Recruitment Strategies
• Customer Development and Customer Engagement Strategies
• Community Engagement
• Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing
• Retail and Customer Experience Design

Presentation proposals should include:

• A summary of the proposed presentation, including an outline and key takeaways
• A brief presenter biography highlighting qualifications
• Referrals, if applicable
• Information about recent speaking engagements

Submit presentation proposals to education@nssf.org no later than Aug. 3, 2026.
