Staccato Opens New Store-in-Store at SCHEELS Cedar Park

Staccato 2011®, creator of the 2011® pistol platform and a leading developer of precision firearms, ammunition and shooting facilities, today announced the opening of a dedicated Staccato Store-in-Store at the new SCHEELS location in Cedar Park, Texas. This new retail format is the latest step in the company's evolving commitment to strategic dealer partnerships.

The SCHEELS Cedar Park store celebrates its grand opening Saturday, Aug. 29, with a parking lot party beginning at 7 a.m. and doors opening at 9:30 a.m. The grand-opening festivities will include free food and giveaways for the first 50 customers in line, a live DJ, gift card giveaways every 20 minutes, vendor experiences and more.

The Staccato section anchors the store's firearms department and gives customers a purpose-built environment to handle a full Staccato lineup, including the Staccato 2011 HD line of pistols alongside the brand's ammunition and accessories. Additionally, custom display fixtures and specially trained SCHEELS associates will be on hand to help customers learn about Staccato products and select the best pistol, ammunition and accessories for their individual needs.

"SCHEELS shares our belief that the buying experience should be worthy of the product, and our partnership at the Cedar Park location is what that looks like when both sides commit to it," said Buck Pierson, CEO of Staccato. "The store is a short drive from the floor where these guns are built, so this is an exciting opportunity to serve customers close to our headquarters and to work closely with a great retail partner in SCHEELS."

For Staccato, the location carries added significance. It's near the company's Florence, Texas, headquarters and manufacturing facility, where every Staccato firearm is purpose-built, rigorously tested and crafted from American steel. Staccato Ranch Texas, the company's shooting and training facility, is also within driving distance.

"Staccato builds their firearms just up the road from Cedar Park, and that means something to this community," said Lucas Hachmeister, Cedar Park Store Leader for SCHEELS. "Giving the brand a dedicated space was an easy call. It lets our associates tell that story properly and gives customers the hands-on experience they're looking for."

The Store-in-Store model reflects a broader approach at Staccato: investing directly in the retail environment rather than leaving the brand experience to chance. In addition to hands-on displays, custom fixtures and associate training, the location will be equipped to host brand activations led by Staccato team members and ambassadors.
