Orchid POS dealers can list used firearms on Guns.com directly from their store inventory, reaching one of the largest online firearm marketplaces without re-keying a single listing.
Used guns are often a dealer's highest-margin inventory, but each one is a one-of-one item that has been hard to sell online. Orchid now handles that for the dealer:
- List from inventory. Used firearms in Orchid POS flow to Guns.com as listings, so the store manages one set of inventory for the counter, its own website and the marketplace. Guns.com requires each used listing to include the required firearm attributes, a full seller description, a condition grade and actual photos of the gun (no stock images), so dealers should have these in Orchid POS before listing.
- The right serial, every time. When a Guns.com order comes in, Orchid sends the serial with the order confirmation, and it is locked once accepted. The sale ties back to the FFL Bound Book.
- Listings that stay current. When an item sells in the store it comes off Guns.com, and when stock returns the listing goes back to active automatically.
- Order approval. Dealers can approve or reject Guns.com orders directly from Orchid POS instead of switching between interfaces.
Guns.com is joined by GunBroker and GunMade.com in Orchid's Retail Integration Package, giving dealers three national marketplaces managed from the same system that runs their counter, eCommerce site, FFL Bound Book, digital 4473s and payments.
