With such amazing feedback, S3DA staff decided to continue honoring Seniors by putting together a tribute video for the Class of 2021. To commemorate the Senior Class of 2021, S3DA coaches, parents and students submitted tons of pictures and none of this would have been possible without their assistance. The 2021 S3DA Senior Class consists of nearly 200 archers from 20 states and 73 S3DA teams combined. This video is our tribute to them all, especially the 144 who chose to participate.
S3DA Social Media & Marketing Coordinator, Kayla Bolton stated, “I can’t even begin to imagine what it would have been like to spend my senior year of High School behind a computer screen. For most of these students, they had to choose whether to take classes from home or return to school and no one could have prepared them for all the disruptions and cancelations they would face throughout the year. The majority of students did not get the opportunity to say their goodbyes to friends in person so all they have are the memories. Through the rough times, I know most of them found optimism and a sense of appreciation for the moments of joy they could take from this milestone year. We, at S3DA, are really proud of all our student archers and want to thank these graduating Seniors for being part of our program.”
“Unfortunately, many of our student members were unable to attend school in-person for the full 2021-21 academic year, and some were not in-person at all. Thankfully, S3DA was able to forge ahead with a great majority of our regional, state, and national tournaments being held as normal. This provided a small measure of normalcy in this incredibly trying year. We’re very proud of our graduating seniors, we wish them all the best in their future and hope they’ll be wonderful ambassadors for our program in the years to come,” said S3DA Program & Event Support Coordinator Amanda Long.

About Scholastic 3-D Archery
Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) is a unique, family-oriented youth archery program which has grown exponentially across the United States as a next-step initiative to follow introductory archery programs. The mission of the Scholastic
3-D Archery program is to foster, educate and guide youth in the areas of 3-D, indoor target and outdoor target archery as well as safe, ethical bowhunting practices. The goal of the S3DA program is to provide archery and bowhunting opportunities to youth in after-school settings, as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community. S3DA students participate in 3-D and target archery using compound and traditional archery equipment. Students can participate at regional, state, and national archery events and earn college scholarships from colleges and universities across the United States. S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3-D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving thousands of young archers.
