Whitetails Unlimited Grants $3,000 to Ohio 4-H Shooting Sports
Whitetails Unlimited recently awarded a $3,230 grant to the Washington County, Ohio 4-H Shooting Sports. The program goes by the nickname Bull’s-Eye 4-H, and is open to all boys and girls ages 9-19. Primary disciplines of focus are archery, rifle, and shotgun. Two shooting sessions are held most Sundays in late spring and early fall.
“Whitetails Unlimited is strong proponent of shooting sports,” says Whitetails Unlimited Program Services Director Russ Austad. “Our Staying on Target program supports a variety of organized shooting sport programs, such as 4-H with the hope that the kids involved will take the next step and get into the woods.”
