“Though the Tokyo Olympic Games were vastly different than any of my previous experiences, it didn’t fail to deliver yet another unique memory. I went there prepared to do my best, and thankfully I was able to put in one of my best performances to date. My DT11 Black helped me come out on top and bring home another Olympic Gold,” Vincent Hancock, Team Beretta athlete and 3-time Olympic gold medalist, said.
Fellow Team Beretta shooters joined Hancock on the podium, with Hansen of Demark taking the silver medal (55/60) and Al-Rashidi of Kuwait taking the bronze (46/60) for a complete sweep of the podium. Beretta athletes also had the distinction of taking the top nine places of the qualifying round, including Tammaro Cassandro (ITA), Eric Delaunay (FRA), and Eetu Kallioinen (FIN).
In the Women’s Skeet competition, Bacosi brought home a silver medal with 123 out of 125 targets in the qualifying round and a solid 55/60 in the finals. “I followed the finals with great pleasure. I am always excited to see our athletes - who have their home in Beretta - win. Thanks to them, we keep on getting new incentives to produce more and more performing firearms and seeing them on the podium with these firearms is the best closure possible. Once again, we are not just talking about firearms but more generally about Beretta complete equipment. The vest of the Italian National Team Diana Bacosi and other athletes are wearing provides them elegance and character: this is a precious element for a bigger widespread of clay shooting,” Franco Gussalli Beretta, President of Fabbrica d'Armi Pietro Beretta and Executive Vice President of Beretta USA, said.
These results further confirm the dominance of the DT11 platform on the international stage going into its’ tenth anniversary of production and following the superb performance in the Rio Olympics and continue to prove why the Beretta DT11 is the number one choice of champions globally.
