Mathews TRIAX Wins Outdoor Life Editor’s Choice Award

Sparta, Wisconsin – After an extensive review of 2018 bow models, the Mathews TRIAX earned top honors as the “2018 Editor’s Choice” by Outdoor Life Magazine.

Outdoor Life’s evaluation team judged each of the bows on speed, draw cycle, noise, vibration, handling, fit and finish, accuracy and forgiveness, and value. The TRIAX was recognized as, “quieter than any compound bow we’ve ever tested, and almost totally free of vibration,” highlighting the effectiveness of Mathews’ new patent-pending 3D Damping Technology.

This new technology utilizes an Enhanced Harmonic Stabilizer in the bottom of the riser that works to diminish vibration in all three axes of vibration stemming from the point of contact – your grip. The Outdoor Life review team was also impressed by the Triax’s “excellent handling and over-the-top shooting experience.”

“Our goal is to deliver the best all-around shooting experience for our customers, and this year we discovered a huge enhancement with 3D Damping Technology.” said Matt McPherson, Chief Engineer and Owner of Mathews Archery. “We’re thrilled the market and the industry feel the same way – the TRIAX is a great success.”
