Panama City Beach Announces Grand Opening of Bay County (FL) Shooting Range

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL – Long known for its sugar white sand beaches along the Gulf of Mexico, Panama City Beach is also recognized by international sporting event planners as a great destination for everything from swim meets to softball. New to the growing sports destination is the Bay County Shooting Range scheduled to celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, November 19, 2016.

"Our world-class beaches are a natural draw for families and those looking for a great vacation," says Visit Panama City Beach President and CEO Dan Rowe. "Now, more and more athletes and sport enthusiasts are choosing to compete in paradise, and stay for a vacation."

Free and open to all ages, the grand opening will take place from 9:00am – 4:00pm at 10900 Steelfield Road in Panama City Beach. A highlight of the event will be special guests Aaron and Steve Gould who will perform one-of-a-kind trick shots as a part of their Gould Brothers Exhibition Shooting show, beginning on November 19th at 9:30am. Other free, hands-on activities for youth and adult attendees begin after the morning exhibition show and include door prizes such as tickets to the 2017 SpringJam Music Festival, shooting stations and demonstrations, archery range challenges, bounce houses and a special appearance from Smokey Bear. Chasin' the Sun TV show host Justin Leake will also be on site filming a segment for the hunting and fishing episode of the show's second season, premiering later this year on the Discovery Networks' Destination American channel and in 2017 on NBC Sports Network.
