Putting on the brakes on the U300 Action!

New CEO Christopher Ng who came on board in March 2017 has decided to halt production of the Ultimatum U300 rifle action to be able to deliver a better and more versatile action geared towards serious precision shooters. As a shooter himself he realized some obvious shortfalls in the lack of versatility in the action to allow the true precision shooters to use custom handloads outside of Saami Specifications.
Understanding the delay will not be welcomed by many, he feels delivering the right product to the customer is more important than shipping an inferior product.

Ng says that the wait for the newly designed Ultimatum "Deadline" model that is replacing the U300 model will be worth it. Those that cannot wait will be offered a refund and will be provided an opportunity to obtain the new Ultimatum Deadline at a special price.

Some highlights to look for in the new Deadline in addition to the ability to accept custom handloads, are double ejectors, double stack magazine compatible, added mounting space for longer scopes, enhanced bolt knob ergonomics, redesigned trigger hanger, rear tang profile and improved bolt stop.
