Target shooting at Nebraska’s Wagon Train Wildlife Management Area is prohibited effective immediately to help ensure the safety of the public. The decision was made after continued unsafe shooting practices at the WMA, which is adjacent to Wagon Train State Recreation Area about 25 miles south of Lincoln.

The Hammond Cove Shooting Range in Hartland, Vermont will open on April 3, at 10:00am. The range operates under rules set by the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department. Range users must sign in with an onsite range safety officer and have a valid Vermont hunting or fishing license or be the guest of someone who does.

The Wyoming legislature moved to cement their case that the Cowboy State is the premiere destination in the United State for the firearm industry, hunting and shooting sports. Both chambers of the Wyoming legislature moved decisively to allow for the debate, amendment and final passage of authorization to move forward on the Wyoming State Shooting Sports Complex – to be built in Cody, Wyoming.
