Federal Ammunition awarded the 2026 Tom Knapp Memorial Scholarships to Charramaiyne Brown and Isabelle Sparlin at the 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships in Grand Island, Nebraska. Each recipient received $2,500 from the endowed scholarship established by Federal Ammunition and Champion Traps & Targets to honor legendary exhibition shooter Tom Knapp.

The National Rifle Association awarded $15,000 in college scholarships to 2025 Youth Education Summit attendees Kaitlyn Ware and Sam Poulin through the Y.E.S. Grand Scholarship program. Recipients completed community projects promoting firearm safety and shooting sports, including hosting Eddie Eagle GunSafe® events and starting NRA affiliated shooting clubs.

Federal Ammunition recently awarded the 2024 Tom Knapp Memorial Scholarships to two 4-H shooting sports teen ambassadors: Jessica Laffey from Colorado and Kaeli-Gracyn Bourgoyne from Louisiana. The scholarships were presented to the recipients at the National 4H Shooting Sports Invitational held in Grand Island, Nebraska, June 24-28.

Each year at the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) Team National Championships, young shotgun shooters line up shoulder to shoulder for what may be the single largest Last Competitor Standing (aka "Annie Oakley" or "Knock Out") trapshooting competition in the world. Three skilled high school seniors earned scholarships courtesy of the National Rifle Association.
