Burris Optics Team Member Camdyn Powers Continues to Rise as a Dominant Force in Competitive Shooting

By any measure, 2025 was a defining year for Burris Optics Shooting Team Member Camdyn Powers. Across ten major matches – spanning local qualifiers to international championships, Powers didn't just compete; she set the standard. With seven first-place finishes, a regional podium, a national finale appearance, and a world championship title, the Colorado-based shooter solidified her reputation as one of the most consistent and driven competitors in rimfire precision shooting today.

Powers' season began in January with a win at the Palmer Divide Rimfire match, setting the tone for what would become a relentless march through the Precision Rifle Series Rimfire calendar. From winter through late summer, she continued to stack victories, claiming first place at Gravestone March Rimfire, TX Precision Matches March 22LR, Elevated Precision's July Scorcher, and multiple Palmer Divide events. By September, her win at the BLGC PRS Rimfire match confirmed what many already knew—Camdyn wasn't having a good season, she was having a dominant one.

That consistency earned her a second-place finish at the PRS Rocky Mountain South Regional Finale and a berth at the PRS Rimfire National Finale in Parma, Idaho—an achievement reserved for the most disciplined and high-performing shooters in the country.

But the pinnacle of Powers' year came overseas.

At the IPRF PR22 Rimfire World Championship in Market Drayton, UK, Powers faced 256 elite shooters from 21 countries in four demanding days of competition. Shooting for Team USA, she helped secure a gold-medal team finish while also earning the title of World Champion in the Ladies Divison—finishing 17 points ahead of her nearest rival.

"Competing at the 2025 IPRF Rimfire World Championships was the perfect finish to a season I'm truly grateful for—full of wins, lessons, and a few hardships that ultimately pushed me to grow and stay determined." Said Camdyn Powers. "Worlds brought all of that hard work into focus, and even when it tested my process, it never broke. Winning my gold medal was more than a victory; it was a proud reminder that with dedication, belief, and the support of family, friends, and the Lord's strength, the goals you chase can become your reality. Standing on that podium was a moment I'll carry with me forever, a place in precision rifle history that we earned together."

Powers' journey into competitive shooting was fueled by a love of precision, problem-solving, and personal growth—qualities that continue to define her approach on and off the firing line. Known for her calm demeanor and meticulous preparation, she approaches every stage with a deliberate process and trusted equipment—including her preferred optic, the Burris XTR Pro. She credits her success to discipline, faith, and the support of those around her.

"I'm incredibly thankful for the people and partners who stand behind me," she added. "Representing Burris for the past four years—especially on the world stage—has been an honor."

As she closes one of the most successful seasons in recent PRS Rimfire history, Camdyn Powers isn't just a repeat champion—she's a rising force whose best chapters may still be ahead.

"Camdyn's performance this year has been nothing short of astonishing," said Jordan Egli, Director of Marketing at Burris Optics. "We're honored to support her and couldn't be prouder of everything she's accomplished this season."

Burris Optics extends its warmest congratulations to Camdyn Powers for her remarkable 2025 season and looks forward to supporting her continued rise in the precision rifle world.
