Team Krieghoff Captures Key Titles at the 2026 Southern Grand

At the 46th Annual Southern Grand, held March 9 through 16 at the Silver Dollar Shooters Club in Odessa, Florida, Team Krieghoff shooters put together a strong week. They set the pace in the preliminary events, with results across the leaderboard at one of the ATA's early-season championship events.

The Singles Championship stretched into one of the longest shoot-offs of the tournament. In a field of 507 competitors, five shooters posted perfect 200 scores to advance, including Richard Marshall, Jr. of Lincoln, Nebraska. After five rounds on Saturday evening, competition was halted due to time constraints with three shooters still in contention. When the shoot-off resumed Sunday, the remaining competitors got back on the line and continued, ultimately reaching a total of 450 consecutive targets before co-champions were declared. Marshall shared the title with Weston Anderson, closing out one of the longest finals of the event.

Elsewhere in the championship events, Zach Nannini secured the Handicap Championship from the 27-yard line, prevailing in a 50-target shoot-off to claim the title. He also took first in Class AAA in the Doubles Championship, while Richard Marshall, Jr. added a runner-up finish in that same event. Mike Blaisdell captured the Veteran Doubles Championship, and Lloyd Beecraft recorded a Senior Veteran runner-up finish in the Singles Championship.

Wyatt Debrie put together a strong run in the Junior category, earning the High Overall title while also finishing as Junior Runner-Up in the Handicap Championship. His results included wins in the Wednesday Handicap and the Junior Singles Class Championship, along with a Doubles Junior Class title on Friday, capping off a strong week.

Hall of Famer Deborah Ohye Neilson led the way in the Lady II division, earning both the High Overall and High All-Around Championships, along with wins in the Singles and Doubles Championships, and a runner-up finish in the Handicap. She also added five preliminary wins during the event. Additional results included Elaina McCarthy, who earned Lady I runner-up honors in the Handicap Championship, and Lloyd Beecraft, who also finished as Senior Veteran runner-up in the High All-Around standings.

Krieghoff congratulates all competitors and is proud of the effort and achievements of all its shooters at the 2026 Southern Grand and wishes them all the best in the season ahead.
