Competing with his dependable Ruger Custom Shop SR1911®, Koenig demonstrated consistency and determination at both championships. He was the only competitor to achieve perfect scores in both matches. At the State Championship, his score was 1920 183 X's, and at the Crawfish Cup, it was 1920 178 X's.

While Koenig's discipline and competitive skills were the driving forces behind his double title wins, the support of the SR1911 added another layer of consistency at the highest level. Known for its precision, craftsmanship and reliability, the pistol complemented Koenig's ability to perform under pressure in two demanding championships.
