Firearms Action Shooting Trial (F.A.S.T) 2026 series was announced recently with four marquee events for 2026. The 2026 events are time based 2-Gun (Rifle/Pistol) and Rifle only events. Unlike your average competition F.A.S.T. matches intentionally use the natural terrain, include realistic physical challenges, rifle targets out to 500 yards, and pistol targets out to 100 yards! Each stage will take up to 5 minutes to complete, giving shooters a true test of their mental, physical, and shooter skills.

The XTech Tactical team has personally participated in events hosted by Russell Phagan the founder of F.A.S.T. and believe the core of the events align well with XTech's focus on hard use products intended to be put to hard use.

2026 Events will be:

Buckeye, AZ (May 16 & 17)- Retro Rifle Action Match focuses on the use of rifles and sighting systems from the Cold War through the Global War on Terror

Echo Valley Training Center, WV (June 12th-14th) – Rifle/Pistol Format match making use of the natural terrain of West Virginia's woods, hills, and valleys.

Flagstaff, AZ (September 19th & 20th): Intergalactic Small Arms Championship rifle only format with science fiction themed stages and equipment divisions allowing people to use all their more unusual guns they wouldn't otherwise compete with.

Parma, ID (October 9-11th) – Rifle/Pistol format in the high desert that will really test a rifleman's skills at distance.
