Berger's Dustin Flint Crowned Louisiana Silhouette Champion

Dustin Flint of Team Berger has been crowned the 2026 Louisiana Grand Aggregate Smallbore & Air Rifle Silhouette Champion following a standout performance at the championship event held May 2–4 in Gonzales.

The two-day competition brought together top shooters from across the region, featuring smallbore rifle events on Saturday — including both standard and hunter classes — followed by air rifle competition on Sunday.

Flint secured his eighth Louisiana Smallbore Silhouette Championship title with an impressive aggregate score of 174/200. He faced a strong challenge from junior champion William Harris, ultimately prevailing in a shoot-off to take the title. Flint posted scores of 47/60 in Standard Rifle and 51/60 in Hunter Rifle, demonstrating consistency across both disciplines.

On Sunday, Flint carried his momentum into the air rifle competition with a dominant showing. He fired a perfect 40/40 in the morning match — marking his 38th career perfect score — to secure the early win. He followed that performance with a 36/40 in the afternoon match, earning a combined score of 76/80. Once again, Flint met Harris in a tightly contested shoot-off and emerged victorious in a five-shot final to claim the Open Air Rifle Championship.

With the Grand Aggregate title now added to his already accomplished résumé, Flint continues to reinforce his position as one of the sport's premier competitors.

Flint's next competition will be the SK Lone Star Cup, scheduled for June 6–7 in Houston, Texas, where he will look to continue his winning streak.
