B&P USA, manufacturer of the world's premier shotshells for clay target shooting and hunting, proudly recognizes the exceptional achievements of its Pro Staff members at the prestigious World English Sporting Competition, held April 21–26 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas. Widely regarded as one of the most challenging and respected events in the clay target shooting calendar, the World English Sporting Competition drew a total of 1,268 shooters from around the globe to compete across a variety of demanding disciplines, including the main event sporting, FITASC, Super Sporting, 5-Stand, and preliminary events. Known for its complex target presentations and high level of competition, the event tests consistency, precision, and adaptability across multiple shooting formats.
Leading the charge, Gebben Miles secured an impressive Runner-Up finish in the Main Event, posting a score of 204/225—just one target shy of the High Overall (HOA) title. Karen Miles delivered a dominant, multi-discipline performance, earning Main Event M2, Main Lady Champion honors, FITASC Lady Runner-Up, Preliminary Lady Runner-Up, Super Sporting M2, Super Sporting Lady Champion, 5-Stand Lady Runner-Up, and the Ladies Cup HOA title. Diane Sorantino also demonstrated strong consistency, finishing as Main Lady Veteran Runner-Up and securing third place in the Preliminary Lady category. In a highly competitive field, Nicolas Berry captured the Preliminary M2 title with an outstanding score of 95/100. Representing the B&P UK team, James Attwood achieved remarkable success, claiming the FITASC High Overall title, finishing third in the Lone Star Cup, and earning Runner-Up honors in American Field Sporting.
"These results reflect not only the dedication and talent of our Pro Staff, but also their ability to perform under the most demanding conditions," said Holly Hammond, Senior Shooting Sports Manager at B&P USA. "The World English Sporting Competition is one of the sport's premier stages, and we are proud to see our shooters succeed at such a high level."
