Fort Smith, AR – Walther athlete Braden Peiser delivered a strong performance at the 2026 ISSF World Cup Rifle/Pistol in Munich, Germany, qualifying for the Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions final and finishing 6th overall in a deep international field.
Peiser qualified 5th with a score of 593-32x, earning his spot in the final and putting himself squarely in medal contention. This result marks a significant milestone in his young career—his first senior World Cup final appearance—and highlights his rapid rise as one of America's most promising rifle shooters.

A standout from San Angelo, Texas, and a competitor for the University of Kentucky, Peiser won the 2026 NCAA individual smallbore title and has an impressive junior international résumé, including Junior World Championship gold and multiple podium finishes in air rifle and smallbore events. He recently signed with the Walther World Team, joining an elite global roster of athletes competing with Walther precision rifles at the highest levels.

"Braden's performance in Munich was outstanding," said George Norton, Director of Sales and Marketing, Competition Channel, Walther Arms. "To qualify for a senior World Cup final and finish 6th against that level of competition shows exactly the kind of disciplined, composed athlete he is. He's still just getting started, and we are proud to have him representing Walther on the world stage."
The ISSF World Cup in Munich is one of the premier international rifle and pistol events, attracting the world's top Olympic and World Championship competitors. Peiser's result adds to the momentum of his breakout season and signals the strength of the next generation of U.S. rifle athletes.
