
Ulm, Germany — The historic Krieghoff Trophy returned on June 13 and 14 as part of Krieghoff's 140th anniversary celebration. Held for the first time since 2005, the event drew a full field of 232 competitors from 13 countries and will now return every two years.
Held at the Dornsberg Shooting Ground in Germany, the competition featured a sporting clays course designed by World Champion and course setter Ben Husthwaite, along with the exciting "Target Impossible" side competition.

The event was organized with the support of Markus Leibinger, the Dornsberg team, and numerous volunteers. Dornsberg shooters also donated 25,000 rounds of ammunition, which were awarded as prizes across multiple categories and during the event raffle.
In addition to the competition, visitors had the opportunity to test current Krieghoff firearms on the demo course and take advantage of on-site service provided by Krieghoff gunsmiths.
Frank Hasekamp of the Netherlands captured the Challenge Cup and the High Overall title. Additional category winners included:

The excitement of the weekend concluded with the grand finale: the raffle of a custom-built Krieghoff K-80 shotgun. Ueli Galli of Switzerland was selected as the lucky winner during Sunday's awards ceremony.
Krieghoff congratulates all competitors and category winners and thanks everyone who took part for their sportsmanship and support.
